Nicolas DETRY
Architect DISASL, Graduate HQE, "specialist in restoration of historic monuments", lecturer at ENSAL


Nicolas Detry works on projects bound to the architectural and urban heritage mainly in France, in Italy and in several countries. He has been awarded a diploma of the "School of Specialization in the Restoration of Monuments" of the University of Rome "La Sapienza " (1990-1994) and a diploma in HQE architecture at the National Superior School of Architecture of Lyon (ENSAL, on 2004). Between 1995 and 2000, he worked in Paris with Pierre and Pascal Prunet, Chief architects of Historic Monuments. In 2000 he published, with Pierre Prunet the book "Architecture et restauration", (published by éditions de la passion, Paris). In Italy, as partner of the CROCI-REPELLIN Group - (team leaders Prof. Ing. Giorgio CROCI + ACMH Didier REPELLIN) - he is a prize-winner of an international competition for the restoration and the consolidation of the “Royal Inn of Poor Men” in Naples, a huge edifice built from 1750 on. Between 2001 and 2007 he led the CAREBUK project with the aim to restorate and reconstruct the ancient Medrese in Bukhara (Uzbekistan). He is teaching at the National Superior School of Architecture of Lyon. A part of his activity is also related to research, with several publications in the field of the architectural heritage from a theoretical, historical and technical point of view. In 2011 he has begun a doctoral thesis (PHD) in architecture on the issue "War and peace, paradigm of Herat"; this thesis is directed by a professor of the “ENSAL” and a professor of the “Ecole Normale Supérieure of Lyon”.

Pierre LEVY
Pierre LÉVY
Architect DPLG, specialist of the environmental architecture HQE, lecturer at ENSAL

Pierre Lévy has an important experience in new constructions and at the same time in renovation: individual and group housing, schools, industries, town planning and landscaping … In approaching these problems, he always pays close attention to setting up devices of environmental quality. In the field of energy and resources, he has already installed several central boiler systems using wood, thermal and photovoltaic solar panels for apartment buildings, systems of collection, filtering and recovery of rainwater … In these projects, the settlements, the volumes, the typology of buildings, the choices of materials, and the setting-up are made according to environmental criteria, as well as to an architecture of quality. Pierre Lévy works in the Rhône-Alpes region. He is teaching at the National Superior School of Architecture of Lyon and coordinates the in-service training High Environmental Quality. He participates in research works on the issues of architecture and the energy efficiency. Besides, he is an administrator of the OIKOS association and a member of the Scientific Council of the Big Workshops of L’Isle d' Abeau.

Sophie ZÉLÉ
Sophie ZÉLÉ
Architect DE - HMONP (equivalent of DPLG) - Graduate HQE

Sophie studied architecture at the schools of Montpellier, then in Antwerp Belgium (workshop of ecology) within the framework of the Erasmus program and finally at the school of architecture of Lyon. During the 5th year, she followed the department of Sustainable and Fair Development managed by Philippe Madec. She was awarded the “Graduate Architect of State” diploma in July, 2006 and “Authorized to Exercise on her behalf on Projects” in September, 2007. Sophie is also awarded a diploma by the in-service training HQE delivered by the ENSAL. Aware of the problems related to the environment and conscious of possibilities of improvement that can be achieved, Sophie is since her studies engaged in the ecological and environmental architecture. She joined DETRY & LEVY’s architecture firm in 2006, and is working particularly on new or renovation projects of environmental architecture to which she contributes.

Julien FONTAINE
Julien FONTAINE
Architect DPLG - Graduate HQE

Awarded a diploma in 2002, Julien is fascinated by the question of the sustainability in town planning and architecture, which had been the subject of its personal work at the end of studies in architecture. He acquired a good knowledge in the building sector and his stakeholders by exercising his job during 3 years at the agency of architecture ART’ UR at Paris. At the same time he was able to follow in 2004 the in-service training at the HQE of the ENSAL. Settled in Lyon since 2006, he continued to work in this way by joining the HQE in the ALE as advice architect. Since then, he accompanied numerous innovative projects and led awareness-raising activities, training and technical accompaniment to the various stakeholders of building to make progress with the Environmental Quality and the energy performance. Julien co-leads with Pierre Lévy since 2006 the in-service training QEB for the ENSAL.

Taïda SKALJIC
Taïda SKALJIC
Architect, RIBA

Awarded a diploma in 1991 at the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, she studied the classic and traditional architecture at the Institute of Architecture of SAR Prince of Wales in London and is registered at the Royal Institute of Architecture of British Architects. During 15 years in England within several agencies and as a freelance architect Taïda worked on the British architectural heritage, the increase and the rehabilitation of classified buildings. Also holder of a Master's degree of research in Sustainable Architecture at Portsmouth, she settled in Lyon in 2005 and has continued to learn about the French architectural heritage since.

Gautier MAZILLER
Gautier MAZILLER
Management assistant in apprenticeship contract to the Chamber of commerce and industry of Lyon

Gautier joined the team in September, 2010 to support us in the management of the firm. He manages the majority of paperwork, and also oversees the company’s computer network thanks to his HIGH SCHOOL DEGREE in "Microcomputer and Networks : Installation and Maintenance ", obtained in 2009. He is also in charge of the preparation of application files of calls for tender.
